The untouched region of Manang is an isolated Himalayan Region. It lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area, which is also the Nepal's largest conserved natural area, established in 1986 AD. The aim for the conservation is to protect diverse Himalayan ecosystems while promoting sustainable tourism in the other hand and the preservation of local culture from over-toutism.
