Shishapangma is considered among the easiest routes to the summit of all the eight thousanders, and has often been skied. FAQs

The best seasons to climb the Shishapangma are the Spring and Autumn seasons. During these seasons, the weather is stable, with clear skies, low risk of Avalanches, low wind, and warm temperatures, which makes the expedition easier. These seasons are the popular and perfect seasons to climb Shishapangma.

From the South Face of Shishapangma was climbed on May 26th and 28th, 1982 AD by Doug Scott, Roger Baxter-Jones, and Alex Maclntyre, a British team.
