Mera Peak Trek

Overview

Mera Peak trekking is a totally new and unique package crafted to explore the beauty of the Mera Peak trail. Located inside the Makalu Barun National Park, just beside the Everest Region, it consists of enormous beauty and offers the best experiences for travel enthusiasts. Even though Mera Peak is more popular for its Mera Peak climbing, it too holds diverse natural beauty and traditional experiences along the way. To showcase such diversity and to offer travelers some new experiences, Mera Peak Trekking offers a journey up to Mera Peak Base Camp passing the 16 days of itinerary.

The Mera Peak trekking trail too offers uncrowded routes, even though it is located just beside the sensational Everest. It also merges a totally different trekking experience from the modern Everest Base Camp Trail and the traditional experiences through the Makalu, offering a unique glimpse of transformation in a trekking journey.

Starting from the cultural city of Kathmandu, following the trail from Lukla, it passes through traditional villages and terraced farms along the traditional lifestyle of the Sherpa people. The trail follows the journey through Panggom, Chatra Khola, Kothe, Thangnak up to the Mera Base Camp. Until then, you will be rewarded with a diverse trekking journey covering the lifestyle, culture, and the enormous beauty of panoramic Himalayan views.

Mera Peak Trek is not a usual trek that is in the limelight. The trail is more known for its route to the Mera Peak Climbing, but considering its beauty, it deserves a separate trekking route. So, here, we have an itinerary of 16 days for you to explore the Mera trail at its finest.
