Your trek begins with your arrival in Kathmandu ( Tribhuvan International Airport). Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal and the starting point of your Mera Peak Trekking. Upon arrival, our team will be there for warm welcome you. After some interaction with the team, you will be transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.
After checking in to your Hotel, you can rest and recover from your journey. Later, you can explore the surrounding area of Thamel vibrant street, or simply relax at the hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy the local food of Nepal in cultutral resturant. Enjoy a comfortable evening in Kathmandu. Sleep well.

After having a light breakfast, you will meet your guide. Today is dedicated to final preparations for the Mera Peak Trek before you head toward it. If there is something missing on the list, then you will have time to purchase the remaining items from the trekkers' shop, or you can rent any necessary gear and complete any remaining arrangements.
Since this is a free day, you can relax and explore some of Kathmandu if time permits. Getting adequate rest is important before heading into the mountains. Prepare yourself mentally and physically for the spectacular landscapes, remote settlements, and high-altitude adventure that await you.
In the evening, you will attend welcome dinner with your team and your guide. Your guide will give a briefing about the trekking route, weather conditions, altitude, safety precautions, and the challenges you may encounter. Enjoy the Nepali meal in a cultural restaurant while interacting with new people/team. Sleep well for tommorow journey towards paiya.

Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will board a scenic flight towards Lukla, and your mountain adventure begins with an exciting flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, taking approximately 40 minutes. The flight offers beautiful views of the Himalayan landscape as you approach the famous Lukla airstrip. Lukla is the settlement of Rai, Sherpa, Tamang, and others, which is a gateway to Everest. You will witness the beauty of the Khumbu region from Lukla, witnessing the breathtaking scenery of two statues of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in front of the Tenzing Hillary Airport, which is surrounded by Himalayan Giants with valleys.
You will meet the trekking crew and begin walking toward Paiya, also known as Chutok. The trail passes through green hills, dense forests, suspension bridges over Handi Khola, and small mountain settlements, providing your first taste of the remote Himalayan environment. On the way, you can see the house and village of the mountain legendary woman Mrs. Pasang Lhamu Sherpa. The trek takes around 3–4 hours and gradually introduces you to the mountain terrain. Crossing the Chutokla Pass You will reach Paiya.
After reaching Paiya, You will see the small valley where, Tamang, Magar and Sherpa People live. you can rest and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by the natural beauty of the region.

After a light breakfast, you will leave the Paiya village behind, and the walk begins toward the Panggom. You will start your trek with the morning sunlight on the top of the mountain and Hills. Today’s trail takes you through beautiful forests and rugged mountain terrain, with several ascents and descents along the way. As you progress deeper into the Khumbu region, the surroundings become increasingly remote and peaceful. You may encounter local villagers, trekkers, and mule caravans along the trail. The approximately 5–6-hour journey offers impressive views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Upon reaching Panggom, Panggom is a beautiful settlement surrounded by green hills and paddy fields, where you can experience himalayan lifestyle and you can rest at the teahouse and enjoy a warm meal. The quiet mountain atmosphere provides a perfect setting to recover before continuing your Mera Peak adventure.

After your breakfast, you will begin your trek in the early morning sun. You will walk through the lush pine forest and blooming rhododendrons along the way in the spring season, across open hillsides, and through several traditional settlements. You will gradually gain and lose elevation as you cross remote sections of the trail, with beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The route offers a quieter trekking experience away from busy trails, allowing you to enjoy the natural scenery and local atmosphere.
This trek takes 5 hours of walking to reach Ramailo Danda. Ramailo Danda is a beautiful settlement of Sherpa, Rai, and Tamang. You can rest and enjoy a warm meal before spending the night at the lodge.

After having breakfast, your trek will begin from Ramailo Danda to Chatra Khola. This trek takes 7-8 hours of walking to Chatra Khola. Along the trail, you will cross multiple suspension bridges. The trail winds through dense forests and rugged terrain, with occasional views of the surrounding mountains. You will pass through Ningsow and continue along a scenic route filled with peaceful natural surroundings. The changing landscape makes the journey enjoyable despite the longer walking hours.
After arriving in Chatra Khola, you reach Chhatra Khola at an elevation of around 2,800 meters (9,186 feet). You will find a few trekkers on this trail because it is a less crowded trekking trail that takes you deeper into nature. You can take proper rest and recover from the long day trek. Enjoy the local food of Chatra Khola.

After a light breakfast, leaving Chhatra Khola, today’s trail takes you deeper into the beautiful Hinku Valley. The route follows forested paths and gradually opens to impressive views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape. The peaceful environment and fresh mountain air make this section particularly enjoyable.
This trek takes 6-7 hour of walking to reach Kothe, situated at approximately 3,691 meters (12,109 feet). Enjoy a relaxing evening at the lodge and prepare for the higher-altitude sections ahead..

After a light breakfast, Today marks the beginning of the gradual ascent toward the higher regions of the Mera Peak trekking route. From Kothe, follow the trail along the Hinku Valley, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery and alpine landscapes. The relatively short walking distance allows you to trek at a comfortable pace while becoming accustomed to the increasing altitude.
This trek takes 4 hours of walking to reach Thangnak. You will pass through beautiful natural surroundings before reaching Thangnak at approximately 4,358 meters (14,297 feet). Once there, take time to rest, stay hydrated, and enjoy the spectacular Himalayan environment.

After your breakfast, your trek toward Khare will begin with morning sunlight. Today is a short but important acclimatization day as you trek from Thaknak to Khare. The trail gradually climbs through the increasingly rugged alpine landscape, with spectacular views of snow-covered peaks and glaciers along the way. As the altitude rises, walking slowly and maintaining a steady pace becomes important.
This trek takes 3 hours to reach Khare, situated at 5,045 meters (16,486 feet). Spend the remaining time resting and preparing for the challenging sections of the Mera Peak journey. The high-altitude surroundings provide an exciting introduction to the mountain environment.

After a light breakfast, you will leave Khare and begin your trek toward Mera Base Camp. The trail becomes more rugged as you move farther into the high mountain region. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, offering impressive views of the Himalayan peaks. Today’s journey is an important step toward the summit as you enter the remote mountain environment.

Today is dedicated to experiencing the spectacular high-altitude landscape around Mera La and the highlight of the trek. After spending some time taking pictures and witnessing the breathtaking views of 7,000m and 8,000m peaks, retrace your route and return toward Khare for overnight. The day combines adventure, stunning scenery, and valuable high-altitude experience. After arriving in Khare, enjoy the meal and take a proper rest to overcome from today journey.

After a light breakfast, witness the glorious sunrise over the mountain and the valley, and begin your descent from Khare toward Kothe. The trail follows familiar landscapes through the Hinku Valley, but the journey feels different as you gradually lose elevation. Descending allows you to enjoy the surrounding scenery at a more relaxed pace while appreciating the dramatic change in the landscape.
This trek takes 5-6 hours of walking to arrive at Kothe, around 3,600 meters (11,808 feet). Enjoy the view of the mountain over the valley. Spend the evening resting at the lodge and enjoying a well-deserved meal after the demanding days in the high mountains.

Along the route, enjoy the peaceful environment, mountain views, and traditional trails of the region.

After breakfast, you will begin the final trekking day from Chatrala toward Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, check into your accommodation and take some time to relax. You can celebrate the successful completion of the trek with your trekking team and enjoy your final evening in the Khumbu region.

After an early breakfast, you will head toward Lukla Airport for the flight to Kathmandu. Enjoy the view of the Everest region for the last time, and from the airport, you can see a few mountains on the western side. You will board a morning flight from Lukla. The short flight offers one last opportunity to admire the spectacular Himalayan scenery from above, including rugged mountains, green valleys, and dramatic landscapes.
Upon landing in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel and take the rest of the day to rest after the long trekking journey. You may spend your free time exploring the Thamel streets, shopping for souvenirs, or simply relaxing at the hotel. You will attend a farewell dinner with your team and guides. This marks the conclusion of your Himalayan trekking experience.
